"Annika grew up on a fourth-generation farm in the northeastern corner of Montana. She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Whitman College, where she studied under Dr. David Hyun-su Kim and Carissa Pitkins-Cox. Annika is pursuing a Master’s in Piano Pedagogy at Butler University in Indianapolis, studying with Dr. Kate Boyd and Karen Thickstun.

Annika’s pedagogical skills shine as she assists at the Butler Community Art school and actively contributes to the Indianapolis music education scene. She presented research the Music Teacher National Association’s Collegiate Conference and holds leadership roles within the university. Her teaching style garners high praise, with students and parents lauding her approach.
