"I've been tutoring students in math and physics for over a decade. In my time as a tutor, I've come to realize that 90% of the time, tutoring is about asking the right questions. With the right questions, students can find answers on their own, and truly build their problem-solving muscles.
I started tutoring at Rockland Community College in 2014. At RCC, I tutored students across all math course offerings - from remedial math to linear algebra. Additionally, my students had vastly different background, ranging from adult learners returning to school after years in the workforce, to high school students taking additional classes in community college.
I graduated from MIT in 2019 with a Bachelor's in physics and minor in math, and TA'd 8.02, freshman E&M, for two semesters. I spent a year developing working as a physics curriculum developer, before switching over to tutoring full-time. I specialize in helping students develop clarity and mastery in physics, and excel in preparing students for the AP Physics I, AP Physics C, and Calculus AB and BC exams. Beyond AP courses, I also offer F=ma prep for advanced high school students.
At the college level, I offer tutoring for undergraduates, covering multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, probability, statistics, and physics I-III. I am also happy to work with students in more advanced subjects, including grad students, but this will depend on exact course details (and may be subject to a higher rate). Finally, I've been working with MCAT students on math/physics for the past 5 years.
I look forward to working with you! Please reach out with any questions you may have - I'm easy to reach, and will quickly be able to determine if I can provide the help you need." less...
