"I have a degree in Vocational Education from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have been teaching for 14 years in a small school where I have experienced helping junior high and high school students in Math and sconce subjects as well as vocational subjects. I have four children. Three of my children attend either elementary, middle high or high school. The reason I want to tutor is to help a child succeed in subjects that are hard for them to grasp concepts. By being a teacher myself as well as a parent, I see my own children struggle with subjects that I help with on a daily basis. I would love to help a child pass their classes and feel confident about their work.
I work with my children on a daily basis with math homework dealing with Eureka math and Common Core math from grades 1st - 7th. I teach biology lessons in my agricultural science class from genetics to eukaryotes/ prokaryotes, plant science, reproduction. I also help my children with homework in elementary science from 1st-7th grade.
