"I'm Morgan! I graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. I also have a minor in photography. I have been an elementary teacher for 5 years. I realized the most important aspect of being a teacher is the one to one/small group relationships I have built with my students. This is where most growth and love for learning happens. I use lesson plans that are engaging, then explicitly teach each lesson so students leave with a new or growing understanding of the material.

My certifications: Texas teaching credential to teach EC-6th grade, ESL credential. Science of Teaching Reading credential from TEA.

I have a minor in photography that allowed me to start a photography business that I started back in 2020. It has been a fun, creative outlet for me. Minoring in photography was not something I planned on doing, but I am so glad I went that route. The creative and artistic nature of photography can be used in so many ways, and for many purposes.
