"I graduated from Wilkes University with a degree in History and Secondary Education. I have always been passionate about history and an excellent writer. I just spent the last two years teaching Social Studies and English at a private school in Malaysia. I worked very closely with small groups of students in order to help improve reading, writing, and grammar skills. I also held extra English classes after school to help struggling students. My areas of expertise include: American History, Colonial/Imperial/Modern European History, and Writing.

In my free time I play Ultimate Frisbee and play Rock n' Roll music with my band. My favorite color is purple and I'm a lefty.

I have always loved writing and have been told I am quite good. My certification is in Social Studies, but that just means that I spent four years sharpening my formal writing skills through various essays, term papers, and theses. Also, I feel that my two years experience teaching English to foreign students have qualified me as a writing tutor.

History is my all time favorite subject. Ever since I started reading about Ancient Egypt in 4th grade I have had a fascination with learning about different places in different times. In high school I studied American History and in college I studied American and European history, political science, economics, and geography. History is a passion of mine that is only overshadowed by my love of music.
