Giving students the confidence to find joy in their learning is my favorite part about teaching. My favorite subject to teach is reading, and I use all the most up to date (and tried and true) methods to help students succeed! As someone who was once told they would never be able to read due to eye condition, teaching students to read and enjoy reading is my passion! I also enjoy teaching math, writing, and other subjects at an elementary and occasionally middle school level. Though I am currently a full time teacher, I want to be flexible to find the best times that work for each student and their individual needs. I offer afternoon and evening tutoring spots throughout the week and options on Saturdays. During the summer, I have a much more open schedule to help kids stay on track and avoid that summer learning loss. I am passionate about teaching and each child is important to me. I will always do my best to help every student thrive and find joy in their learning." less...
