My Master's thesis focused on the effect of a dietary fiber bacterial fermentation byproduct in the large intestine, on the human immune response to a potentially pathogenic bacterial species. My project was highly multi-disciplinary, focusing on microbiology, metabolism, molecular biology, cellular biology, immunology, biochemistry, and microscopy. Having mass data to track and present, I quickly honed my skills in Microsoft Office that I use daily in my remote job, in clinical research.
I have mentored family, friends, coworkers, and classmates in Microsoft Excel for a variety of applications.
My real life experience applying my education in my job, monitoring patient safety means that I can help explain why the information is important.
