I received my PhD in communication from University of Southern California in 2021. I have taught or helped teach many different undergraduate and graduate level courses at USC. These include Communication Management (50 master students), Media Economics and Communication Business (50-100 undergrad students), Influencer Strategy (20 master students), Media and Culture (20 undergraduates), Media and Society (100 undergrads), Media and Technology ( one-on-one tutorship to undergraduates), Cross-Cultural Communication (50 undergraduates), Interpersonal Communication (one-on-one tutorship to undergraduates), Rhetoric and Civil Life (50 undergraduate students), Public Speaking (one-on-one tutorship to undergraduates), etc. etc. Before coming to USC, I taught Cross-Cultural Communication, American Society and Culture, and English to undergraduates majored in English at a Chinese university.

I received two Top student paper awards from the National Communication Association (NCA) in 2015 and 2021 (NCA is one of the most reputable communication conferences in the world). These awards recognize my research papers in Health Communication and Internet and Public Communication in China. I can teach various genres of writing in academic settings, especially writing academic research papers at undergraduate and graduate levels, theses/dissertations, or applications to grad schools.

Between 2013 and 2019, I have also served as a professional interpreter and have offered translations for many business and academic conferences and seminars at USC and beyond (e.g. international conferences).
