"I'm Tiph! I'm a traveling multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. In college, I realized that the classes I enjoyed most were project based verses lecture based. Allowing students to have the freedom to learn by doing gave me space to play, try and fail at new skills in a low-stress environment. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach, and do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience. Each student can expect an individualized lesson plan tailored to your specific learning needs and goals. I'm really great at connecting students to online and offline resources to help farther their knowledge of a particular software or skill.
Some programs that I'm really good at are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Other useful skills include book binding, screenprinting, patternmaking and sewing.
Current degrees I hold are an Associates in Applied Science in Graphic Design and Illustration from Pratt Institute and a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photojournalism from George Washington University.
