"Hi! I'm Camilla, a songwriter and composer currently based in the Salt Lake City area. I graduated with my B.A. in Music Composition from Stanford University, where I had the privilege of serving as sound designer/composer for multiple university theatrical productions, and of assistant-teaching a course on wild sound recording.

I am currently offering tutoring services in Music Theory, Composition, and Ear Training. I love examining the rules and patterns that make music sound the way that it does, and I believe each of these subjects has the potential to usher students along a thrilling path of creative investigation.

Each session will prioritize the learning style of the individual student. I expect them to come into class ready to examine a question or source of frustration which we will unpack together, with customized exercises and patient explanations of confusing points. All learning paces are welcome!

Outside of tutoring, I am completing a chamber-pop concept album focused on land and family history. It features some of my favorite things: piano, Celtic and Norse mythology, and tangible references to the spaces and places that formed me. I look forward to working with you!" less...
