"I have over 20 years teaching experience privately in my personal studio, and as a faculty member of a group studio. I have a BS in Education from the University of Tennessee, taught in the Memphis City School system, BM from the University of Memphis, and MS from Full Sail University in Entertainment. I am a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers with students that have performed for guild. I was also a piano guild student growing up. Music Teachers National Association, Ohio Music Education Association, American Federation of Musicians member, NARAS member. I have had students from ages 3 to 70 using traditional methods and modified Suzuki materials that incorporate music notation reading. I enjoy helping students learn the fun in music, each student has different goals for what they are seeking to achieve in music and I can assist the student to those goals. I currently am a professional practicing musician and am familiar with the National Standards for Music Education.
