"Hi I'm Niko!

I am an expert in Ableton Live, Logic Pro X and Garage Band. I specialize in helping students of all levels with mixing and preparing music for release. I truly love teaching and my goal is to meet my students where they are in order to help them grow beyond!

MY BACKGROUND:

I have spent over a decade producing music professionally and have found my niche working with recording artists for tv/film. My music has been featured in shows on Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime TV, Adult Swim and more!

Before becoming a producer, I toured the US and Europe performing with various artists as a drummer. Highlights include performances on the TODAY Show, NFL Network, international festivals and National tours with Willie Nelson, Shania Twain, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and others.

MY PHILOSOPHY:

Music production is a vehicle for self-expression like painting or storytelling. I teach with a friendly style that inspires my students to trust their ears and try with new things. My formal training is in drums and guitar, but my favorite thing about music production is that it transcends those trades; allowing you to create with your ears instead of a particular instrument.
