"Mítia D'Acol is a 5th year PhD student in Music Theory at Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. He's been an associate instructor at IU for seven years, teaching drills for 5 semesters of core theory (tonal and post-tonal theory) as well as 3 semesters of murals skills (tonal and post-tonal. Mítia was also instructor of record for the second semester of aural skills at Jacobs during the academic year of 2020-2021, teaching over 120 students and coordinating 4 associate instructors on zoom. Mítia received the Wennerstrom Music Theory Associate Instructor Fellowship in 2023 as a recognition for the quality of his teaching at IU.
