I've been a musician all my life, studying trombone, piano, and music theory. In college I was greatly inspired by my private trombone tutor, and over the summers I learned a lot from working with kids in smaller group settings. I learned that I can teach most effectively one on one, where I can best cater to my individual student's learning styles. Every student needs a different energy and curriculum to learn in their own way, at their own pace. I strive to provide that opportunity to my students by listening first and foremost.
