"Hello my name is Alyce. I am a military child youth program assistant for a military base. I teach preschool students the child developmental curriculum to create experiences and set children to succeed for kindergarten. My passion is challenging all my students individually and also working at a pace that is necessary. I have experience working with special needs, autism, adhd, speech delay and children that may need a little extra help. I love what I do and thats to help my children create memorable and knowledgeable skills in a fun energetic way. I have my credentials CDA ( child development associates ) followed along with annual trainings that require me to teach children. My expertise is preschool ages 3 and 5. I have worked with children for 5 years. Reading is introduced at a very basic minimum level. Writing is guided by encouraging with tracing and followed up with hand movements to help with writing techniques. English and language vocabulary is implemented with phonics, sounds, and rhyming. Math is taught by numerals, quantity, simple adding and counting with manipulatives. I am excited to be able to teach your children to help guide and achieve life long goals. My main duties include teaching children about basic fundamentals, like numbers, color and shapes, helping children build their social skills.
Reading aloud and talking about experiences can help kids build reading skills. Reading Comprehension are key to help build vocabulary skills, fluency, and decoding. Being able to connect ideas within to help kids understand the message of the text.
Determining the unique needs of my students and
developing IEPs for each student. Assigning and supervising activities depending on the abilities of each student. Working with other teachers, parents, administrators, and counselors to monitor students’ progress and discuss plans.
