I was born the only Deaf child in my family. I grew up in both Deaf and hearing worlds. I learned sign language with my mother and father. My sister learned from birth. I appreciate people who learn to communicate with people who use sign language.

I have had situations where I had to "roll up my sleeves" in order to communicate with people who don't know sign language. Along the way I met people who are eager to learn how to sign. That makes my heart happy! I always enjoyed helping people improve in ASL fluency and watch them become skilled in signing. Sign Language is beautiful. Expressive.

Anyone from many different walks of life are welcome to be my student to tutor. I can help with ASL 1 through ASL 4/ fingerspelling or Visual Gesture Communication(VGC)
