"Hi! I'm Suhani, and I'm currently a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in Biology on the pre-med track, with plans to apply to the radiology program. I attended NCSSM Online and won the National Merit Scholarship. My passion for tutoring began in high school, where I tutored elementary and middle schoolers in subjects like math, science, and dance. Along with helping peers with challenging math and science classes, we were taking together. I find great joy in helping others grasp challenging concepts and reach their academic goals, and I believe that a personalized, interactive approach is key to successful learning.

In high school, I was actively involved in extracurriculars, including NCSSM Online, volunteering at Novant Health, marching band, dance, HOSA, and DECA. Balancing these activities with academics taught me how to manage my time effectively, which is something I emphasize with my students. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle multiple responsibilities, and I help students develop study strategies that make learning both efficient and enjoyable.

I have tutoring experience in subjects such as elementary and middle school level math, biology for middle and high schoolers, SAT math prep, and ACT math and science prep. I work closely with students to guide them through homework, practice problems, and difficult concepts. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simpler steps, creating analogies for students, and helping them form a good foundation on the subject matter.

In terms of my academic achievements, I scored 1540 on the SAT, 34 on the ACT, and I achieved 5s in AP Biology, AP Calc AB/BC, AP Psychology, AP Language, AP World, AP Human Geography along with a 4 in AP Chemistry, AP Stats, AP US History, AP Earth and Environmental, among other accomplishments.
