"I'm Selim and I have a Master's degree in Pharmacy. After college, I realized I most enjoyed one-on-one helping approaches, which led me to get a two-year Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) certification in Montreal. I've worked as a life coach for the past 10+ years, which has taught me how to customise my help according to my clients' needs, skills and contexts through active listening in order to reach their goals as efficiently as possible. Every person has a specific way of learning and the ability of the tutor to adapt to it is essential to learning with pleasure--because whatever is done with pleasure is more easily understood and engraved in our mind. My ultimate goal is to help people to become autonomous by helping them to figure out their best way to learn and understand.

I have 12 years of experience helping people reach their goals by putting them in a resourceful state of mind and teaching them new skills. I particularly enjoy working with kids and young adults because their minds are more flexible in learning new things and they naturally think out of the box.

My favorite class and top subject in school was mathematics. I've helped tutor my friends and younger family members over the years and have a strong understanding of what young people need to understand arithmetic, algebra and geometry.

I am a native French speaker and graduated from French-language primary and secondary schools and universities.

I'm also passionate about psychology and self development; as well as permaculture (a method of growing food following nature's principles) and ecology.
