I have been teaching Italian for many years at the college level, in private institutions and online. I primarily focus on active involvement of students in both speaking and listening in realistic everyday situations. Gradual acquisition of grammatical structure and vocabulary with an emphasis on pronunciation and natural association of sounds with images.
The goal is to enable student to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations they would be likely to find themselves in. Students find a practical application to theory and comprehension once familiar settings are selected based on personal preferences.
Learning Italian can take some time and patience but it is a lot of fun and the rewards will be worth it. Start this beautiful journey and explore the unique and vibrant Italian culture and its fascinating history!
