My name is Ester, born and raised in Italy, and I teach Italian and English as Second Languages. I studied in Rome at the School for Interpreters and Translators. I came in my mid twenties to the US to study AST and achieved other specializations as well. I have privately tutored in several subjects but in the last decade, I have been focusing in teaching English and lately, mainly Italian. Experience includes teaching Italian at a private school for government employees who successfully pass the FSI test; I also teach Italian II as well as an "Italian for Travelers" course focusing on language essentials, culture, ideas, advice and more, for people planning a trip to Italy at a local public school in the adult education program.
