Immersed in a multicultural world, I was born and raised in Chile. As a teenager, I worked as a television actress for 3 years. I graduated college in 2001 earning a bachelor's degree in Theater Direction, and began teaching immediately afterward. My passion as a tutor began later, along with my endeavor as a mosaic artist. Our family moved to the United States in 2009, and I now have two college boys. I continued teaching Spanish classes in Atlanta area, having more than 20 years of experience.

In 2012, I joined an elementary school where I currently work as Spanish teacher. I work with individuals or groups; all skill levels; and all ages - children and adults.

My aim is to offer my students a didactic, stress-free environment customized and adapted to fit the particular need and interest based on the age and goals of the group or individual. I provide immersive learning Spanish lessons - not solely reading and writing focused. I employ class teaching methods based largely on play, while applying techniques from my experience teaching theater, art, and creative movement. I have found that incorporating some aspects of these expressive methods creates a teaching environment for the student that is more personal and engaging, and especially more fun!

I believe that every student - just like a mosaic - is made up of unique pieces, perspectives, and personalities.
