"I am currently an Associate Professor teaching Homeland Security & Criminal Justice courses for a college in Central Florida. I have over 30 years' experience as a senior leader in the military and the Federal government, where I have been responsible to ensure the professional success of thousands of individuals during my career. This has included conducting professional training, teaching academic classes, coaching, tutoring and mentoring.

During my career, I served as a Director on the Homeland Security Council staff at the White House for two Presidential administrations. In this capacity, I was directly responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of national-level policies relating to cargo, port, maritime, and supply chain security. I am also a retired officer from the U.S. Coast Guard, where I spent my military career conducting law enforcement, search and rescue, and national defense operations throughout the world. I also served served two years as the Military Aide to the President the President of the United States. Most recently, I served as an executive within the Department of Homeland Security.

I have significant experience in Public Speaking, as it has been a critical element of my professional duties for the past 20 years.
