"As you can probably tell by the title, I have a LOT of different areas in which I have much study and specialty. There are many great tutors that I have seen, but I believe I am unique because I possess both broad and specialized skills that give me a considerable wealth of knowledge to draw from and communicate in an engaging, penetrating, and thought provoking manner.

My bachelor's degree was in Religious Studies, in which I focused on Biblical as well as Islamic Studies and Arabic. This also included intense study of Catholic theology through a local seminary in coordination with my university. At the same time, I did a dual minor in Journalism and Mandarin Chinese, of which I have four years of study. For a master's degree, I did Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations with an additionally focus on Arabic in modern, Egyptian colloquial, and Classical (Quranic) variants. During this time, I was translating Arabic documents from classical texts, and I still continue to do this following my completion of studies.

As far as philosophy is concerned, most of my work is in works of the ancient Greek thinkers, specifically Aristotle and Plato, and in the work done by Medieval European academics such as St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Bonaventure as well as their predecessors and successors.

Concerning history, my specialities are in Medieval European history and the history of the Muslim world from the decline of the Roman Empire up through modern times. Specifically, my deepest area of study within this is in Medieval Islamic history, ranging fro the rise of Islam up through the birth of the Ottoman Empire and Tamerlane. I also have in-depth knowledge and study of the entire history of Spain and Portugal throughout the Reconquista to the growth of their national empires, the Crusades, and the entire religio-political history of Medieval Europe through the period of the Black Death.
