I have been teaching composition and writing courses at some of the nation's top universities such as Cornell University, George Washington University, Rutgers University and American University. I have published articles and short stories in the U.S. and abroad. I can help you get your thoughts onto paper and help you refine them into a finished product. I love helping my students find new writing strategies and help them continue to develop their writing skills. I can also help you better understand how you will be using the "assignment" or "writing skill" in every day life. I promise to make your assignment relevant so that you can "re-use" the skill you are learning.

Writing is a process, and like a muscle, it must be developed by steady practice. I can help you organize your ideas, get them down on paper, revise your writing and also help you proofread and edit it. I can show you the types of resources that are considered academic and reliable and which are not. This will help you in your writing because your paper is only as reliable as the resources you are using.

I am free most days and evenings and am happy to help you get your assignments and projects into better shape. Writing takes time, so it's not always possible to get a paper in perfect shape the day before its due. If you start early though, we can surely get you to a point where you are really proud of what you are going to submit!
