I am a new chemistry PhD student at the University of Alabama Huntsville. I plan on doing research in the field of inorganic biochemistry. My master's degree was in biological sciences and I have worked as a graduate teaching assistant for undergraduate biochemistry laboratory. I also have a few years of experience working as a teaching aid at a learning center for school-aged children. I am intermediate Spanish speaker and I also spent a year as an ESL tutor. During COVID, I was successful at facilitating a home school environment for elementary/middle school-aged family members.
