These educators encouraged my inquisitive nature and taught me that science is about asking questions and challenging assumptions, because the outcome could lead to new and exciting experiences. I believe that learning does not stop when you leave the building or walk across the stage, but rather it continues throughout one’s life as a springboard for growth and development wherever the road may lead.
I have three advanced degrees (M.S., Ph.D. and M.BE) in the fields of chemical engineering, bioengineering, and biochemistry. In addition, I have taught college level chemistry at Houston Community College, Department of Natural Sciences from 2010 to 2015. I am currently attending the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (M.D. 2020).
