Throughout high school and college, I've learned that your teachers can make or break your educational experience. The teachers that always stood out to me were engaging and presented material in a way that was comprehensive and thorough, but still easily digested. They were organized, enthusiastic, and encouraging, and they took the time to know me beyond a student, as a whole, holistic person. This is something I try to incorporate into all of my tutoring, as I think the best teaching is individualized to each person's tendencies and interests and reflects a strong bond.
I have previously worked as a Math, Economics, and Entrepreneurship tutor at Northwestern, and I currently work as an English, Geometry, World History, and Chemistry private tutor. I have also previously worked as an SAT/ACT tutor for high school juniors and seniors.
At Northwestern, I worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, where I gained valuable insight into the college admissions process for top-ranked universities. Coupled by my own experiences going through the Northwestern and Harvard admissions processes, I am excited to assist with college prep, including personal statement/essay editing and overall application assistance.
I'm currently living in NYC, working as a Higher Education Analyst. Outside of work and academics, I love all things music, running, photography, and hiking! I'm excited to help and support any student, however I can!" less...
