"I have a Master's in Nursing, specializing in Adult Education, and the ability to use various teaching/learning methods to assist clients in meeting their needs and being successful. I have more than 43 years of nursing experience, including a six-year tour as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpman, specializing in cardio-pulmonary medicine and diving medicine.

In 2005, I researched, designed, created, and taught a re-entry course (approved by the state Board of Nursing) for nurses who had been out of the field for more than five years. In 2006, I allowed pre-licensure graduates to take the didactic (classroom) portion as an NCLEX prep course. I was very pleased with a 98% success rate through May of 2015.

I get so excited when students get the 'big picture' and understand patho, anatomy, pharmacology, health assessments, ethics, evidence based practice and standards of care. After NCLEX exams, I received many calls from the participants in my classes.
