"Hello, I'm Marshall, PhD(c), RN, PHN!

I am a licensed, Registered Nurse and certified public health nurse based in Minneapolis, MN. I earned my BSN from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. My clinical background includes cardiac telemetry, Med/Surg, Intensive Care and long-term care nursing. I am currently a doctoral (PhD) candidate at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. I am a published author who enjoys research and evidence-based practice (EBP) and has presented at local and national conferences about nursing education and practice.

I am passionate about helping health and science students reach their personal and professional goals. I have 6+ years of experience working with college-level students and currently teach in the undergraduate nursing program at the University of Minnesota. I also have extensive experience helping students write papers in both MLA and APA (6th and 7th editions) and love reading student papers.

In my free time, I love to visit the park, cook, and be outside.
