"I have over 10 years of experience as a K-12 classroom teacher. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in the MSED department where I teach future educators the foundations of teaching students K-12.

I was recently an Academic Specialist with Harlem Children’s Zone in New York, NY. I was in charge of coordinating after-school tutoring with students K-12. I determined academic aims based on students’ needs and trained/coached tutors to effectively implement those goals.

Prior to that role, I taught remedial math courses at Kingsborough Community College. Math is one of my favorite subjects and it was so amazing to help adults rediscover its interesting concepts!

Previously, I was a Public and Charter School Educator in Buffalo, NY working in many of the area’s great urban charter schools. I primarily taught Pre-K through 6th grade for all subjects, including building a STEAM program that reached 400 students yearly!
