"Hello, My name is Marlene. I am excited to start tutoring and I have joined Wyzant to help anyone out that needs it. I am ready to help out any students that need additional support such as, ( Homework, course work, test prep and extra help in any areas). I currently am a Certified ENL Teacher in grade levels K-12. I have 6 years experience working in schools. I completed my bachelor's degree in May 2022 for Early Childhood Education. I graduated as an Honor's student as well. I have also made the Dean's list every semester at my college. I have high standards for achieving good grades and that is why I am ready to tutor. I want to help you achieve good grades as well. I am well prepared and highly organized. I am ready to share my knowledge with you and support you in anyway I can. I have experience working with middle school students, elementary students, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and teaching students with special needs as well. I love what I do. I do not consider it a job. It is my passion.

I believe their are many benefits to teaching. I want to teach because teaching is a highly social job. Teaching involves a social atmosphere between parent’s, student’s and staff. Teacher’s work as part of a team with colleagues, while interacting with students each day. Another reason why I am drawn to teaching is because teaching gives you a chance to learn as well as teach. One of the main reasons for wanting to teach is devotion to lifelong learning. This is something I have. Teachers not only get to share their existing knowledge, but they get to dig deeply into topics and learn something new along the way. Many people see teaching differently. I see it as impacting lives. I believe the life of a teacher is exciting, varied, and stimulating.
