"As the oldest of seven children, I grew up helping out with homework - a lot. Luckily, I absolutely love reading and writing and was able to use these skills to my benefit, as I went through high school at Marymount, here in LA, and college, at NYU.

In high school, I took both AP Writing Courses: AP Language & AP Literature and received 5's (the highest possible scores) on both exams! My writing helped me get into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where I worked on a television show for ABC as an production office intern! After graduating college, I moved back to Los Angeles, where I have consistently written for online publications, entertainment news websites (think: Justin Bieber & Miley Cyrus) and for corporations who need content writers to create original marketing material and blogs for their websites.

My passion for tutoring young adults, as they traverse the shifting terrain of middle school and beyond is about more than just words on a page. I believe in practicing patience, giving encouragement and holding students up to their highest standard, while meeting them where they're at.

While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer make-ups and am flexible with scheduling. In the past, I have worked closely with parents who have been very satisfied with my contribution to their child's progress. In addition to homework and essays, I have assisted in the daunting college application process with great success.
