"I began my teaching career with the NYC Department of Education, Bronx almost 20 years ago. I spent six years in the Bronx and had an invaluable experience working in an inner city school with a diverse group of students. For the last 13 years I have spent my time teaching in the suburbs. I have taught grades 2-6, special education and most recently, reading intervention services.

My first Master’s degree is in special eduction and I have a second Master’s degree in literacy. I am a NYS certified teacher holding certifications in the areas of birth-2/1-6 in both regular and special education and in literacy.
