"I am a New Jersey certified K-5 elementary teacher and Highly Qualified in Language Arts grades 6-8. I have been tutoring at the Children's Dyslexia Center in Northfield, NJ 2 nights a week since 2013. I love helping student's who are dyslexic learn strategies to read and see how they gain their self-confidence back.

My tutoring provided individualized sessions for students who are dyslexic. Sessions are 50-60 minutes, one-on-one lesson plans. All lessons are presented in a multisensory format using direct instruction. There is NO homework and all supplies are provided. The lessons consist of visual and auditory drills, concept review, writing/spelling dictation and introduction of new information as well as oral reading.
