"Do you like a challenge? I certainly do and back in 2008 I got back into medical coding. A lot has changed since I started coding over 35 years ago, but it is a great field to be in. Teaching coding has become my passion. Helping students understand the ins and outs of studying, especially with the goal of sitting for the CPC exam through The American Academy of Professional Coders for Outpatient coding.

There are a lot of online programs out there to take for this course of study, but if you are needing additional help in understanding and reaching your goals, please let me help you. Together we will try to make it fun and interesting. It takes time and hard work, but it is very well worth it.

I have my Certification as a CPC (Certified Medical Coder) and a CPC-I (Certified Medical Coding Instructor) through the American Academy of Professional Coders. I have taught at a community college for over 10 years in the Medical Billing and Coding program.
