"I have masters degrees in both mathematics and physics. I've been teaching all of my life, starting with martial arts in high school and as an artillery instructor in the Marine Corps.

I do not have a civilian teaching certification, but I am certified in the military as an instructor and curriculum developer. In 2016 I was recognized as the Fires Center of Excellence instructor of the year. In 2019 I taught American History 1 and 2 for Central Texas College.

I have a passion for academics and I very much enjoy the active learning process and helping others be successful.

I've always loved math and physics; my college degree was applied physics in aerospace engineering at the Naval Academy. I later economics at the University of Oklahoma, but now I am now a dual masters student in math and physics at the Naval Postgraduate School. My next assignment will be teaching physics at the US Naval Academy.
