"Hi, I’m Jack, an accomplished multi-subject tutor. A current Junior at the College of William & Mary, I am a double major in history and computer science. I have also excelled in high-level courses across other fields like calculus, chemistry, biology, and Latin. Possessing over 80 hours logged as a private tutor, I have helped students in topics ranging from calculus to history, chemistry to Latin, and more. I also have teaching experience from high school, where I spent two years as a Latin tutor and one year as a marching band instructor.

When tutoring, I am patient and empathetic, encouraging students to keep trying even when they experience difficulties. I also establish common ground with my students. As someone with recent experience navigating the advanced courses of today, I better understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. Additionally, I provide my students with detailed and constructive feedback that addresses the underlying causes of their mistakes and extends beyond what is covered in their curricula. But most importantly of all, I have a true passion for both the subject matter I cover and the art of teaching itself.
