"Hi, my name is Galen! I have worked as a tutor since 2018, covering all sorts of topics ranging from high school algebra all the way up to applied statistical methods. I have always been very passionate about mathematics, and I get a great deal of joy from helping others. Lucky for me, these two passions easily align in my current role as a math tutor!

During my time in college, I worked at our campus Math Lab. Due to my prior private tutoring experience, I came in with the skills that are needed to meet a student where they are and take them to where they need to be. I assisted students in both drop-in and one-on-one settings, conducting in-person and online sessions. In May of 2023 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and have been private tutoring ever since. I was awarded the Outstanding Student in Mathematics, and was the Math Tutor of the Year and the Learning Center Tutor of the Year two years in a row. During my time in the lab, my student tutoring satisfaction score was a 4.98.
