"Hi I’m Hannah, a recent graduate of Geneseo in Western NY. I love talking to people about what I’m passionate about. I plan to spend the rest of my life learning as many cool things as possible. My teaching philosophy is that students learn best when their education is tailored to them. I am committed to 1-1 relationships with everyone I tutor and also strongly believe that while I hold a teacher authority, the students are teachers themselves as I am always learning from them too!

I started college unsure of what I wanted to study but certain that I wanted to meet people and travel the world. After my first anthropology class I walked away absolutely infatuated with understanding how people work. I studied in all four major disciplines, though archaeology is my favorite, and find that it is applicable for so much in everyday life. Everyone should study anthropology at some point.

During my study of anthropology I specialized in linguistics and earned a certification in TEFL. I used these skills to tutor migrant farm workers in my area through a program at my college. I have much experience myself in learning new languages(French, Russian, Arabic and Chinese) so I understand how hard it can be to learn another language, especially English!
