In high school, I worked for two years as a tutor at my community college, where I worked with students in biology, chemistry, math, history, psychology, philosophy, English, computer skills, and drug dosage (the community college had a large nursing program- I may not know what a particular medicine is for, but I can tell you how much of it to administer!). After graduating from college, I began tutoring again, resuming almost all my former subjects, although my passion continues to be the humanities.
My goal in tutoring is to spark in my students a curiosity and love of learning that they can carry with them their whole lives. I've always believed that keeping a sense of wonder and a desire to learn makes life a lot more fun. If I can help bring that about in someone else, my life becomes a lot more fun as well." less...
