"Since age 10, I’ve been passionate about music. I begged my mom to let me attend music school, where I spent seven years studying piano, singing, and music theory. "Since age 10, I’ve been passionate about music. I begged my mom to let me attend music school, where I spent seven years studying piano, singing, and music theory. After graduating, my drive to be part of the arts led me to Moscow for acting school, and later, to New York, where I completed a two-year conservatory at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. There, I learned voice projection and continued private vocal training with a former opera singer, mastering techniques in body positioning and vocal strength. This experience underscored the value of a dedicated teacher, inspiring me to share my passion with young minds, helping them embrace music just as I did as a child.
Before beginning my lessons, I like to have a conversation with each student to assess their current skills and discuss their goals and expectations. This initial discussion helps me understand exactly where they are in their learning journey, so I can create a customized lesson plan that aligns with their needs and ambitions. My teaching philosophy is centered on making the process enjoyable and engaging, ensuring that students not only learn but also build confidence and appreciate their own progress.
While I strive to make lessons enjoyable, I also believe that commitment and preparation are essential to truly benefit from the experience. I expect my students to come to each lesson ready to learn and complete assigned homework, as practice outside of lessons is a critical part of skill development.
I teach piano, singing, and music reading for beginners, working with both adults and children aged 5 to 12. Whether they’re young learners discovering music for the first time or adults pursuing a new passion, I’m dedicated to providing a supportive, growth-oriented learning environment." less...
