"I received my bachelor's degree from Rowan University in 2010 in education and history. My teaching career began in 2011 upon being hired by a High School to teach on level world history courses. My Master's degree from Monmouth University was completed in 2017 which has now afforded me the opportunity to teach at several local institutions of higher learning including Monmouth University and Brookdale Community College. Over the past 13 years I've taught students ranging from 12 to 25 years in age and have been an active member of my school's targeted tutoring initiative- helping to provide free tutoring to students after school. This tutoring is typically done in person with my preferred method involving myself, the student, and a whiteboard-simplicity is often the key for many of the students I've engaged with. I've often found that tutoring provides me an opportunity to "get into the weeds" with students in a way that whole group instruction typically limits.

I currently teach APWH Modern, on level world history, and several sections of a dual enrollment course offered in partnership with Brookdale Community College. In 2022 I was selected as the NJ James Madison Memorial Fellowship winner and received funding to pursue a Master's in American History at Gettysburg College.
