"Chris B. is a passionate performer, educator and lifelong student of music. As a performer, he has played concerts around the world in prestigious halls such as the Vienna Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonie, Salle des Combins at the Verbier Festival, Symphony Hall in Boston, the Regina Mundi Church in South Africa among others. Chris is known for his passion both on stage and off as he is equally at home out in the community sharing his love for classical music and the power of this repertoire with as many people as possible. One of his most recent achievements has been founding and serving as Artistic Director of the Cardinal Chamber Orchestra, a condcutorless string orchestra with an emphasis on life changing music making and music education for the whole community regardless of a persons background.
As an educator, Chris has been teaching since he started playing as he operates on the belief that if he knows 2 notes he can teach someone who only knows one note. Teaching is a calling much more than a job for Chris and his students describe him as "curious," "invested," and "excited about all things music and his students progress."
