"Hi! I'm Jessica and I recently graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics, and a minor in Computer Science. My professional background has been in management consulting, investment operations, and venture capital. However, I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping anyone succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.

Previously, my tutoring/teaching experience has been in mathematics. I have helped tutor kids from 2nd grade through 12th grade. In high school, I was a teaching assistant for Geometry and Algebra II in classes with 25 students each. Later in college, I've helped peers one on one with math, economics, and writing. My approach is to help break down difficult and complicated concepts and make them simple no matter the subject. I often use visualizations and examples to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of what they are learning.

I am familiar with both public and private school curriculums from Grade 2 through Grade 12. I've also helped with application essay writing for elementary, middle, and high school private school applications. Furthermore, I have tutored elementary and middle school students in math through the Russian School of Mathematics curriculum after being a student myself.
