"I am a training educator at an undergraduate level with Blackburn college. Preparing for the final year where I get the official certification to teach publicly in the state of Illinois. My degree will be in Secondary Education Social Sciences where I will be able to cover topics ranging from General History, Economic, Politics, Civics, Sociology, Geography, and more. Some certifications I have obtained during my college career is a Google Educator and MANDT training instruction. The former is to teach and navigate on google owned products (essentially virtual learning). The latter is about conflict resolution and management in neurodivergent and neurotypical students in a 'hands-off' approach.

Previous teaching experience has been a mix of mentorships, leader roles, and teaching classrooms for short periods of time. I had to adapt to working with several kinds of students. Many did not like to learn or could not focus for more than five minutes. I overcame this by making the lessons more mobile. One example is when I present micro-lessons to a class room of high schoolers. The topics in History are not always easy for some students to grasp or retain as effectively as the standards want. By being a shadow to the classroom's main teacher, I am able to sit with these students individually and help them on assignments and homework so they do not fall behind. While the teacher continues on with the class after my portion.

Overall, I have the most experience working with high school to college level. I have minor experience with students at a middle school level and have taken a middle school methods class. I have been gaining tutor experience for almost four full years now and have been putting it into practice in a physical classroom setting for 2 years.
