"I've taught for three years, but was really inspired by one-on-one connections with students. I've been tutoring for almost 10 years. I've tutored students between ages 8 and 20, ranging from elementary level math to College Algebra.

I have my Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Teaching. I understand how challenging math can be, but I've also discovered how useful and rewarding it is as well. I hold my students to high standards and provide all the supports they need to reach high levels of success.

When I'm tutoring, I work around a student's specific preferences and needs. In a given session, I can provide constant input, reteach lessons, provide extra practice and coach them on study habits. I'm flexible with what type of support I can offer each student, from a tutor-as-needed basis to a rigorous scheduled routine. I've helped some students complete homework assignments, but I've also provided more long-term supplemental lessons to help other students survive and thrive in their math class.
