"My name is Garrett Iverson, and I am a dedicated physics student with a passion for helping others develop a strong understanding of math and physics. I am currently a senior at the University of Utah, set to graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a computational emphasis. I have maintained a 4.0 major GPA while excelling in challenging courses such as Quantum Field Theory, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Complex Analysis, and Partial Differential Equations.In addition to my academic achievements, I am actively engaged in research with the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, where I analyze the optical properties of ice to improve energy reconstruction for particle interaction events. My research experience has honed my ability to present complex concepts clearly, as I have delivered numerous presentations about my findings.

I have been tutoring for the past three years, working with students ranging from high school sophomores to college juniors pursuing degrees in STEM. My tutoring style prioritizes building a deep understanding of concepts while empowering students to solve problems independently and efficiently. I strive to help students connect new material to previously learned concepts, fostering long-term retention and appreciation for the subject.
