"I am a fun-loving environmental science professional with a passion for sharing science with others. After completing my Bachelors in Environmental Science and Biology I spent three years teaching high school biology and chemistry, as well as courses in physics, geometry, and statistics. I then earned my Masters in Renewable Natural Resources with a focus on Geographic Information Science (GIS). I've spent a lot of time outside of class helping with after school programs. I love sharing my love of science with others in creative ways that help them to understand even the most difficult concepts.

I've used mathematics throughout my career. It is necessary for many professions and not as hard to understand as many students believe. I use tricks and analogies to make it both easy and fun.
