"Hello! My name is Kendall and I am a Special Education Teacher. I went to Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Special Education. At SIUE I was on the Dean's List in 2015-2016. I was President of the Council for Exceptional Children -SIUE Chapter.

I have been teaching for seven years at an Elementary School in Illinois where I teach Life and Academic Skills to students with moderate-profound intellectual disabilities. I believe in a child-centered approach when it comes to learning. I enjoy getting to know my students and catering our lessons to reflect interests and hobbies. I enjoy making lessons interactive and adding music whenever possible. My teaching style also reflects a relaxed 'vibe'. I want my students to always feel safe and respected whenever they enter my classroom (virtual or in person!)
