"Hello! I am a passionate learner and searcher of knowledge with over 10 years of experience in teaching. My most recent work teaching was as a TA at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, two prestigious academic institutions. For as long as I can remember, I've loved learning about the world, and I love helping people around me learn as well to contribute to spreading and expanding universal knowledge.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a Minor in History from Duke University, with specialized focuses on global politics, political behavior/identities, modern history, colonial history, medieval history, and religious history. I am additionally honored to have learned from some of the brightest scholars in the world at a top 10 academic institution. I am humbled to have been honored as an exceptional writer throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, and I won a graduate student research award for my thesis at UNC-Chapel Hill. Moreover, I am bilingual, growing up speaking English and Farsi as my first languages. I understand language barriers, how language translation is often not direct, and effective methods for learning English.
